I got to shoot Air Review for Modern Luxury’s April issue–out now! These guys were super nice, and we had a blast. Trey Hill and I had a tag team shoot because he was scheduled to shoot some promo pics for them and I needed to get a shot for the magazine. It always amazes me how two photographers can shoot the same subjects, and come out with totally different, awesome stuff. Pretty cool!

Billboard!

It’s kind of crazy and surreal when you are driving down the hwy and you see your photo on a billboard. It’s always exciting to see your work really big, so I am happy to announce and show the billboard I shot for Rye 51! The shop is awesome, and so are the owners. Can’t wait to work with them again soon. And again, Darren was so nice!

Barber Foods!

Last year I spent a lot of time photographing chicken. You laugh, but it’s true. So exciting to see the images in print. They are coming to grocery store displays near you! Also, you can see some ads in food/southern magazines soon, too. We had a lifestyle shoot and some food shoots. They loved the shots and our team was so fun to work with. Here are some outtakes and then some of the final stuff(ed chicken!).

A few weeks ago I got to shoot Eno’s for their website and some different publications. It was a pleasure working with them and I am excited for our Oddfellows shoot in a couple of weeks! Their food is so good, and their Truffle Cheese Bread is my favorite!

Cup of Jo, Hatch, and Refinery29

Last month Joanna, Ariane, Jenny and I got together to do a prego makeover shoot. Ariane has a line called Hatch, and Jenny works at Refinery29 in NYC. We got to spend the day in the Refinery29 offices and shoot these lovely Hatch pieces on Jenny. She was a great model and we had a lot of fun. Sucré Anthropologie Show

Anthropologie asked me to photograph Sucré for their Push Play music series. I did the promo stuff for her (you can see that in the new section of my site!), and I also shot the event. Stacy is so sweet, and I have really enjoyed spending time with her. It was great to see some friendly faces from Philly again, too. Her music is amazing and you should definitely listen to it! I was an avid Eisley listener circa 2004, so it was kind of fun to relive my 2004 fan self. Anyway, it was a lovely event!

So my newly revamped website is up and running! So excited to finally get to show new work, and advertising tears (and now I have a favacon!!!). Thanks to Pinhole Press for printing these lovely promos for me! I just sent out a few hundred of these this week. The paper and print quality are second to none! I am so impressed by their Pinhole Pro software, too. Super easy and fast!! Check them out.

Last month I shot a look book for Rachel Nichelson and her line called Madeline Wood! It was a lot of fun, and here are some shots, although, I am holding some of my favorites back for the revamp of my site in June. Our model was Julia from the Campbell Agency, and she was so awesome!

chefs for farmers!

A couple of weeks ago I photographed the Chefs for Farmers event in Dallas. It was a lot of fun, and the food was so good. I think I tried everything, twice. Highlights (for myself) include the key lime ice cream shake with cashews, the chicken dish from Bolsa, and getting carded in order to get a swag bag because of the free bottle of Patrone. Dallas has a lot going on, and I am excited to be a part of it. There are so many great neighborhood and city events, it is cashews!

Sorry I have been neglecting my blog as of late. I have been super busy, which is a good thing, but I have been holding back a lot of work for a website revamp in June. Hope for June, as I keep getting side tracked and website stuff gets put on the back burner. I really want to send out my awesome new promos, too! Pinhole Press is the BEST!

So, a couple of months ago I did this little thing for Home Depot. We worked with Katie from Modern Eve, and Angie from Posh Floral. What a nice little backyard brunching spot with this patio furniture!

Phosphorescent and Delta Spirit for Billy Reid

SXSW has been fun, crazy and crowded, but fun nonetheless. Yesterday I took some shots at the Billy Reid showcase during the Phosphorescent and Delta Spirit shows. I don’t usually shoot live music, but it was fun for to do so for a few minutes. I love the folks at BR. They are all awesome. This event is happening soon in Dallas. Can’t wait for the collaboration!
