marfa

August 18

i recently had the chance to travel west on a road trip with some dear friends to marfa, tx.  we dwelled in teepee’s and trailers, while the desert weather dropped to the low 60′s at night.  i feel as though the coolness allowed us to have so many wonderful conversations about life, love, careers, and those crazy marfa mystery lights.  all that to say, these are some of my absolute favorite creative people.  thousands of photographs were taken, and numerous videos shot, as i am hoping some of the car singing footage will stay in hiding for a while.  my main weapon of choice was my mamiya 645, and even though film is hard work (this post almost took me a week to scan, dust, and edit), i miss, and love it so much!
