Anthropologie put up some of the photos, but here are some of my favorites from the Ingrid Michaelson event they had during SXSW. I met so many great people, and I can’t wait to work with them again soon!

I have been shooting a lot, and holding back a ton of new work in hopes of getting my website act together and realeasing a bunch of new stuff all at once.  Get ready!  #Gumption2012

SXSW has been fun, crazy and crowded, but fun nonetheless.  Yesterday I took some shots at the Billy Reid showcase during the Phosphorescent and Delta Spirit shows. I don’t usually shoot live music, but it was fun for to do so for a few minutes.  I love the folks at BR.  They are all awesome.  This event is happening soon in Dallas.  Can’t wait for the collaboration!

So last week was the pop up shop opening before the actual opening of Emporium Pies in the Bishop Arts District!  I am very excited for Megan and Mary, and all the work they did proved to be super successful.  I have heard nothing but complements for these two and their pies, and they are getting pretty well known around Dallas, so cake better watch out!  Pies are taking over!  Their design and packaging are great, down to the last little wooden fork detail, and the pies are all so delicious.  I saw several people buy a slice of each!  Can’t wait till the actual shop opens up!

so i’ve been working on this room the last week or so.  it feels so nice to have a space solely dedicated to work.  being freelance can be crazy, and it’s calming to have a new organized office.  i park my bike by the window, and it makes me feel like i still live in brooklyn.  the desk picture is boring, but i felt like i needed a shot of that side of the room.  i made a diy curtain out of a coffee bean bag, and hung up some of my dad’s paintings, as well as the sva poster i helped photograph for louise fili.  simple rooms with good light are my favorite.  lola (the cat) likes it in here, too.
